By the grace of God, I was saved and baptized when I was about 9 1/2 years old. I have spent the past 30+ years getting to know to Lord through His Word and His Holy Spirit. I have been fortunate enough to be mentored along the way by several godly men and women, whom the Lord used mightily in my life.
I have been blessed to be married to my best friend, Katie. Together we have been graciously given 10 children who are growing up in our home. We see our marriage and family as our number one ministry in life and attempt to live our faith out every day before our children.
Lastly, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to serve the church here in Big Piney. God placed a call on my life many years ago to pastor, but it took about 25 years to come to fruition. At the same time God blessed me with the pastorate here at FBC BP, He also allowed me to complete my doctorate in educational leadership, a huge accomplishment for me and my family. I am so thankful that God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.
I pray that if you are able to visit us, you are welcomed by a loving and humble environment filled with the Spirit of God.
